The first of this years Horncastle bike nights has been and gone. The turn-out was great, probably something to do with the fine weather. This weekend (Sunday) sees the annual run to the Authorpe hedgehog sanctuary - Departs from Horncastle town hall car park at 3 pm location map.
Anyone lamenting the passing of the annual Morton's 'wolds run' will be pleased to hear that it has been resurrected by the Lincs Aviation Heritage Centre - Nothing to do with the previous organizers but will be run along much the same lines and all in aid of the Lincs & Notts air ambulance.
