http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2002/20023113.htm   Have you been nicked for transgressing a road marking? If so then you can only be prosecuted if the marking meets the correct specification - this document gives you the specs for road markings

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk   Government petitions site - Simple keyword search and vote functions - Note: you cannot vote against a petition (but you can enter a very long user name, such as "NO NO NO! over my dead body....etc").
http://www.writetothem.com/   Want to write to your Councilor, MP or MEP but don't know who he/she is? This site will put you in touch.
http://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/   Want to report a pothole or blocked roadside drain - This will take you to Lincs County Council - select 'transport. travel and roads' in the 'A Resident' section.

http://www.bmf.co.uk   Ok! - they may be in competition for members but we are all after the same thing really and there is no harm in keeping tabs on them.

http://www.youthbike.com/   A national charity group helping to combat the ASBO mentality by involving kids in teamwork by building one-off bikes.
http://www.bikesafe.co.uk/   Lincolnshire Police section of the bikesafe site. They are NOT the enemy and you might be surprised by their attitude!
http://first4gear.com/bikemeet.html   List of bike meets up and down the country - as the site says "why stay in".
vehicles/motorcycling/motorcyclingstats2007   Department of transport site with the thrilling title of "Compendium of motorcycling statistics" - all sorts of interesting stuff.
